Common & Not So Common Wounds
The tools and methods we use to generate tissue healing also help heal wounds such as acral lick granuloma, elbow hygroma, degloving injuries, non-union fractures, and beyond.

We utilize PEMF, Shockwave, and LASER therapy to help tissue heal. PRP injected around a wound helps new blood vessels bring healing to the tissues.
Occasionally, our team gets asked to help with unique and special cases. The photos to the right are from 2012 when Dr. Kara worked on a non-healing wound on one of the elephants at Dickerson Park Zoo. This elephant had a full recovery from the trauma that affected her trunk and ear.
